Types of EV Chargers

Level 1 AC Chargers

This is the simplest and slowest charging method. You can plug the charger into a standard 230V domestic power outlet. On average, you’ll get 10-20 km of range for every hour of charging. These portable chargers are best suited for travelling and overnight charging at home.

Level 2 AC Chargers

These provide dedicated EV charging and work much faster than the Level 1 chargers. A single-phase unit (about 7kW) provides about 35-40 km of driving range per hour of charging, while a larger three-phase unit of 22kW can provide about 50-130 km of driving range per hour. Level 3 DC Fast Chargers
